Pass by cave dwellings from the Stone Age, villages from The Bible, and castles of The Crusades. Tap a marker on the map and read about the people who lived there and the discoveries that archaeologists made.

Your VR Experience:

Driving outside Israel, your virtual experience begins at a random archaeological site. As you drive, your virtual location is updated on the map. Each time your location is updated, new sites are displayed on the map. With random starting locations, daily commutes will be new and different virtual routes through Israel.

Your Israel Driving Experience:

In Israel the map updates in real-time with nearby archaeological sites. Tap on a marker to read about the site. Does the site interest you? Tap the Directions icon and view directions how to drive, walk or take a bus to visit the archaeological site.

Random Wonders:

Tap the Random tab and view randomly selected archaeological sites. With more than 16,000 sites, you will likely discover sites you never heard of. To view another random site, tap the refresh button. If you want to visit it, and you are in Israel, tap the Directions icon for accurate direction from your location.

Search by Filter:

Are you interested in particular periods of time or specific finds? Perhaps you want to find locations from the Bible where archaeologists found tools? The search feature filters sites based on historic time period and archaeological finds. In Israel? Tap the Directions button and view in Google Maps directions how to get there.
