EM Drive

EM is short for Elon Musk or Electric Motors, whichever you prefer. Thinking about having people pronounce it as "M-Drive." I am developing this app with the goal of providing a central repository for information about Tesla, the electrification of the future, and just a bunch of things that I think a lot of people have interest in (including me).

My personal motivation for coding up this app is to get away from what software development has become. Honestly, it's gotten to be a bit much; all the complexity that needs to be managed, the fancy UI's, and the complicated backends. It has become a bit of a drain in creative energy for me as a professional. I just want to have fun, and maybe get to build a community of people who envision the future to be bright, and see the present state of society as an opportunity to become so much more. Because things SHOULD be better. Better air. Better source of energy. Better method of transportation. Better means of housing. Better means of construction. Better automation. Better health care. Better quality of life. Just better, because why not?

I am putting this app out there as it is, and planning on adding more features as time permits. I would like to get to a point where we can become community-driven. You know, have a message board to share thoughts and stuff. Cuz it gets a bit lonely at times, knowing how the future of society will be shaped in a big-picture kind of way, and looking to the person next to me who doesn't seem to see the forest from the trees. No negative intentions, but a lot of us are caught up in the day to day fads, trends, and the like.
