We live in a highly connected world, there is no doubt about that, while most of us still vaguely remember a world without smartphones or mobile internet access.

Parents today have a completely different set of tools than those they were raised with themselves. Much of the information available to parents quickly becomes irrelevant. The control parents have over consumed media is constantly deteriorating at unprecedented speed. Parenting is becoming the uncharted territory of our time, and parents are the modern trailblazers.

Technology is not all bad

With all the information and learning potential that technology provides, it also raises concern about the kind of content our young are exposed to–and there’s technology for that, too. Parents are using all sorts of online tools to limit activity, usage and exposure.
