Istighfar إستغفار

The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “Whoever is obliged to seek forgiveness, Allah will grant him from all those who are free, and from every distress, a way out and his livelihood from where he does not count.”

Ask forgiveness for its virtues and benefits:

1- That God Almighty commanded His servants to seek forgiveness.

2- That God Almighty praised his family.

3- That seeking forgiveness is one of the characteristics of the righteous.

4- God Almighty forgives those who seek forgiveness.

5- Forgiveness brings power and goodness.

6- Asking forgiveness brings good deeds and blessings and pays misfortune.
