MemBook

The purpose of this app is to provide calming reassurance for Alzheimer's and

Dementia patients and their caregivers. We will accomplish this by allowing the patient

and caregiver to make a customizable scrapbook with pictures and descriptions of their

family members, friends, and joyful life experiences. This will remind the patient of

their family and friends, their relationship with each person, and why they’re in the

scrapbook. Furthermore, the serene themes of this app will relax the patients, and the

descriptions will prevent the caregiver from constantly having to repeat himself or

herself. Our client is the patient; however, the caregiver will most likely have to help

the patient create the scrapbook. This app will help the patient remember happier times,

and it will give the caregivers a respite, while knowing their loved one is relaxing with

the scrapbook.
