Naga TeleHealth - Home Based Care Initiative

Telemedicine has emerged as an innovative technology-based solution for service delivery to people in need, especially to those families are communities living in remote areas. In view of this, USAID funded NISHTHA project in partnership with state government of Nagaland has established Naga Telehealth - a telemedicine platform at Health and Wellness Centres (HWCs) for catering to the need of the catchment population. NISHTHA has partnered with Karma as the telemedicine partner in Nagaland to roll out the initiative Naga Telehealth. This technology platform will connect HWCs through a hub and spoke model for conducting medical consultations virtually, thereby ensuring quality and affordable healthcare services are brought closer to communities.
