QOSIDAH BURDAH COMPLETE APP

Qosidah Burdah is one of the most popular works in Islamic literature. It contains poems praising the Prophet Muhammad, moral messages, spiritual values, and the spirit of struggle, which is still often recited in some salaf Islamic boarding schools and at the commemoration of the Prophet's birthday.

The author of the Burdah qosidah is Al-Bushiri (610-695H/ 1213-1296 AD). His full name, Syarafuddin Abu Abdillah Muhammad bin Zaid al-Bushiri.* He is of Berber descent who was born in Dallas, Morocco and raised in Bushir, Egypt. He is a great Sufi disciple, Imam as-Syadzili and his successor named Abdul Abbas al-Mursi – members of the Syadziliyah Order. In the field of fiqh, Al Bushiri adheres to the Shafi'i school, which is the majority fiqh school in Egypt.

Here are some of the benefits of practicing or reading Qasidah Burdah:

1. efficacious for granting our wishes with Allah's permission. However, there are conditions that must be met. Namely having a sanad to Imam Busyiri, repeating the verse "maula ya solli wa sallim", performing ablution, facing the Qiblah, understanding the meaning of the verses, reading with great, civilized himmah, using fragrances.

2. cured of various diseases
