Supercell dropped a fresh Brawl Stars Brawl Talk on August 29, and it's the kind of reveal that gets the whole community talking. The show confirmed two new brawlers for the next Brawl Stars season, Cosmo and Vine, plus a collaboration with Duolingo. New Brawlers: Cosmo & Vince
- Cosmo: The Magnetic Scientist
Cosmo, Brawl Stars’ next playable brawler, drops in the September 2026 season. This ranged Mythic brawler is the first member of Starr Park’s new Scientist Trio, with his launch event arriving next month.
His primary attack shoots three expanding cosmic balls that swell in size as they travel, orbiting along circular trajectories until they hit enemies. His Super places a magnetic field that causes all ally and your own projectiles to home in on enemies inside its range.
- Vince: Coffee With Caterpillars
Vince joins the roster during the Brawloween October 2026 season. This ranged Mythic brawler works at Juju’s Oddities Shop.
He generates caterpillars around himself, collects them, and transforms them into moths. His Super fires these moths forward — the quantity depends on how many caterpillars he previously gathered. His basic attack throws coffee mugs at distant opponents.
Duolingo Collaboration
The Brawl Stars Duolingo Collaboration is easily the biggest talking point. Duolingo's green owl has turned into a full-blown meme machine over the years, and now he's crossing into the arena. Supercell didn't spell out every reward, but a crossover this size usually means themed skins, profile cosmetics, and often a limited-time event.
Brawl Stars has pulled off these crossovers before. SpongeBob and Godzilla both got full seasons, and each one leaned into the source material hard. Duolingo collabs are rare, so this one carries extra weight. The owl's whole image is a slightly unhinged mascot who guilt-trips you into keeping your streak, and that energy slots into Brawl Stars' goofy tone better than you'd expect. Players on Reddit and X are already losing it over which brawler gets the Duo treatment. So who actually gets it? Supercell kept that quiet for now, and the guessing game is half the fun.
Brawler Blast System
Brawler Blast - a brand‑new system for unlocking brawlers. Though previously teased, this feature is designed to help new players complete their brawler collections by awarding Gem Fragments. You earn these fragments by shooting down brawler cutouts and spend Credits to unlock random new brawlers.
This system will go live ahead of the September 1, 2026 season launch. Players will receive 1500 free Credits, which you can use to unlock the brawler you are currently working toward, or save for future pulls.
New Skins & Buffs
Brawl Stars’ August 29 Brawl Talk showcased all fresh skins arriving in the following two seasons. Next month will bring the Back to School skin set, while the Brawloween October 2026 update adds its own themed skins. Also shown were Moon Festival skins plus fan‑created Supercell Make skins.
New Buffies are also on the way across these two seasons.
