Preface: Since it is desirable to prohibit the child from being called to the factory, mining or other such hazardous work and to make necessary arrangements regarding the health, safety and services and facilities of the child when engaged in other activities,

Parliament has made this Act in the nineteenth year of the reign of Shri Maharaja Maharaj Birendra Veer Vikram Shahdev.१.

Abbreviations and initials: (1) This Act is named "Child Labor (Prohibition and Regulatory) Act, 2".

(2) This Act shall commence from the date fixed by the Government of Nepal by publishing information in the Nepal Gazette.

२. Definition: In this Act, unless the subject or context has any other meaning, -

(A) "Child" means a child who has not completed the age of eighteen years.

(B) "establishment" means any call factory, organization, organization, firm, established pursuant to the law prevailing for the purpose of operating an industry, business or service;

The company or their group must remember.

(C) "Administrator" means the person who made the final decision in the activities of an establishment and to exercise that term's ultimate responsibility or authority.

Refers to a person who has been appointed to the principal post of any part or entity of the establishment.

(D) "Day" means the period of twenty-four hours beginning at midnight.

(E) "Week" means the seven-day period beginning at midnight on Saturday or any other day specified by the Labor Department.

(F) "Physician" means the physician designated by the Department of Labor.

(G) "Certificate of Eligibility" means the certificate given in sub-section (1) of section 4.
