2048

2048 plays on a 4 × 4 square grid. Each move is a turn, players use the arrow keys and the blocks will slide in one of four respective directions (up, down, left, right). Each turn with a value of 2 or 4 will appear randomly in an empty cell on the grid. Square blocks slide in the specified direction until they reach the grid boundary or another square block. If two squares of the same value touch, they will combine to form one square whose value is equal to the sum of those two squares (double value). The resulting cube cannot be combined with another cube again during one move. For ease of identification, squares of different values ​​will have different colors.

The scoreboard in the upper right corner shows the player's score. Initially the score is 0. When two squares combine, the player increases the score as the new cube value. Besides the current score is the highest score record the player has ever achieved.

When the player creates a square with the value 2048, he wins. The player can now choose to continue playing to achieve values ​​higher than 2048. When there are no more valid moves (there are no more empty squares and adjacent tiles are of different values) the game is over.
