Alerte du Congo

Alerte du Congo provides emergency information and communication services for residents and visitors of the DRC. Once downloaded and activated by creating an account, residents and visitors alike will receive location-specific alerts during emergencies and natural disasters containing instructions and other life saving time-sensitive information. When receiving the information is critical, users will receive an audible alert on their phone, even when set to “silent” or “do not disturb.”

App users can also use Alerte du Congo to immediately connect to local emergency assistance personnel in Congo through the app’s SOS button over WiFi even when cellular services are not available.

Residents and visitors of the DRC are strongly encouraged to download Alerte du Congo and create a user account in order to ensure they are kept as safe and as informed as possible.
