Minimal Adhan is now Azan

We built Azan with 8 Requirements in mind:

- Free: It should be free and available to everyone

- No Ads: It would not bother you by showing any ads

- Open-Sourced: Azan was built using open-sourced materials and is completely open-sourced for others to contribute!

- Privacy Focused: Azan does not collect any information without your consent making it one of the trusted apps in the play store.

- Easy to use: Azan was built by following guidelines to build intuitive UI. It is very easy to navigate around and most menus are self-explanatory.

- Reliable: Azan was built with stable libraries that are maintained by thousands of open-sourced developers around the world.

- Highly Customizable: Everyone has their own liking. So, we built azan with high customizability in mind. Customize everything from how azan time is calculated to the theme of the app.

- Light-Weight: Less than 10MB download size

- Language for Everyone: We started the app with multi-language support in mind. Azan, in theory, can support any language. At the moment, only English, Bangla, and Arabic are supported. (Please see our GitHub repo regarding adding your own language)

Features:

Azan supports a wide range of features related to your salah.

1. Azan and Azan Screen

- Timings: Shows the timing of different prayers and sunrise. Currently, it provides the timings for Fajr, Sunrise, Dhuhr, Jummah (Friday Only), Asr, Magrib, Isha, Midnight (for Tahajjud), and Last Third Of Night (Tahajjud).

- Multiple Dates: Take a look at previous/future prayer times in advance or jump to any dates you wish by taping the dates in the azan screen

- Multiple Notification Sounds: Not everyone likes the same old sound. SO, we built in 6 different modes of notifications - Silent, Notification Only (Default), Alarm tone, Ringtone, Azan of Mecca, and Azan of Medina.

- Early/Delayed Notification: Control when you want azan to ring. You can set custom delays to azan to match it with your local masjid.

2. Qibla Screen

- Live Compass Built-in: Check your current direction and the direction to rotate on the in-built compass (Sensors Requried)

- Get the direction you are facing

3. Dua Screen

- Built-in Duas: We built in multiple duas for you to read and benefit from.

- Translations: Each dua supports multiple translations which can be configured from settings.

- Transliteration: Each dua also comes with transliteration in multiple language. Although, we strongly discourage using that.

- Favorites Section: Add Duas to Favorites to find them easily.

- Font-Size Customize: Change the font size to your liking

- Search: Quickly get to the dua you want

4. Tasbih Screen

- Count: Count tasbih wherever you are, whenever you want

5. Nearby Mosque

- View and locate all nearby mosques around you (Location Required)

6. Settings

- Customizations are at the heart of this app. Customizing was never been so easy.

- Customize Azan Calculation Methods: Choose from 10 different options ranging from "Muslim World League" to "North America" to tell the app how to calculate your azan timings.

Madhab Selection, High Lat Rules, Azan Visibility, Manual Corrections, and a lot more are included right in the settings panel.
