BeerSidekick

BeerSidekick is a beer tracking application that allows you to tag where and when you drank interesting (or uninteresting, though we hope not!) beers, and your thoughts on them.

The application allows you to track your favorite beers, lookup information on beers, and adding beers to a wishlist. Oh, and of course allowing you to keep notes on your beers!

Use it online, or offline. You always have access to your beers.

Features

Search for beers

• By criteria - Beer name, brewery name, ABU min/max, IBU min/max, and beer styles as defined by Brewers Association Styles

• By UPC code (Coming soon!)

Display beer details

• Beer name & description.

• Brewery name & description.

• ABU, IBU, Original Gravity, etc.

• Brewery location.

• Suggested serving glassware and temperature.

Rating beers

• Rating beers on a standard 5 star rating system!

• Mark beers as a Favorites so you can easily access them!

• Add beers to your Wishlist. (Multiple wishlists coming soon!)

Log beers

• Log when and where you experienced the beer!

• Add comments about the beer!

• Rate the beer.

Keeping notes on beers

• Add notes about the beer, whether you favorite it or not.

• Like rating or logging a beer, this saves it to your My Beers listing so you can easily find it again.

Share beers

• Discover a favorite beer that you want to share, you can share the beer information with others via Facebook, Twitter, IM, etc.

We use the permissions you granted us in the following ways:

Network communication

• Access to our backend so that you can search for beers, and get details on them!

Your location

• Used to determine your location when logging a beer! This allows you to pick from nearby places when logging a beer.

• Log location is an opt-out feature.

Storage

• Storing backup copies of your logs, favorites and ratings, and beers on your wishlist!

System tools

• Determine if you have a connection to the internet. Allows the app to perform sync your beer data with the latest updates.
