The School Education department of Madhya Pradesh has established Block Level Counselling Centers in each block of the state (313) for provision of face-to face counselling services to the adolescents.

Following services will be provided at the centers…

1. Counselling to the adolescents

2. Outreach visits to the other schools

3. Referral of the cases who needs further treatment

Two counsellors (Male + Female) will be stationed at the model schools of the block headquarter and tasked with following activities

1. Recording of each of the counselling session in register (at the school where the center is established)

2. Report on the outreach visit to other schools

3. Report on the monitoring of the Life Skill Education program (MP government implements Life Skill Education (LSE) program in secondary and higher secondary schools of the state, where the teaches transacts the LSE with the students) The Block level counsellor are tasked with monitoring of the LSE session in the schools of their block and are designated as Nodal Person for LSE monitoring.
