dB Meter - sound level measurement in Decibel

In our everyday lives, we are exposed to loud noises that, with long exposures, cause damage to the auditive apparatus.

dB Meter helps you to preserve your hearing, measuring the intensity of the noise that surrounds you.

In the Free version, dB Meter has all the tools you need to measure in an effective way the sound level.

Moreover, a live chart will help you to visualize the strength of the sound you measure.

In order to work at its best, dB Meter needs to be calibrated.

Inside the app you will be able to calibrate your device: this is super simple and takes only few seconds.

Once your device has been calibrated, it will precisely measure the level of noise that surrounds you.

Please note that dB Meter cannot - and is not designed to - replace a professional sound level meter.

In addition, since dB Meter uses the microphone integrated within your device, which was designed to record human voices, it may not be able to precisely measure very loud noises (> 90 dB).
