New: Advanced cleaning, part of Premium, cleans your pages on DocScanner's own server instead of on your phone, which helps on slower phones. It stays off until you turn it on. Without Premium you can try it on five pages. Assist now tells you when this copy of DocScanner needs to be installed from Google Play. Small fixes.

Assist now says plainly when this phone cannot be verified and why, and tells you when a short wait is all it needs. Backup sign-in with Google works again. Small fixes.

Fixed a first launch that could stay on a blank screen on some Android phones. DocScanner now shows its logo from the moment it opens and starts faster on older phones. Also fixed a crash while scanning on some older phones, and sharp photos are no longer mistaken for blurry ones.

On Android, cleaned pages now come out closer to how they should look, with steadier fills and tones. On every phone, shadows and uneven light are evened out better on Color, Gray and B&W and on an Auto page's first look, and a yellow or blue tint from indoor light is taken off.

Cheap and slow phones no longer freeze: the app measures the phone on its first clean and turns the AI clean off where it is too slow, keeping every page clear with the quick clean instead. You can turn it back on in Settings, or clean one page with it from Enhance. Background cleaning runs at low priority, waits while you scroll, and pauses when the phone is hot or in Battery Saver. Search finds words inside Chinese, Japanese and Korean text. A missing text reader is explained in your language.
更新於2026年10月09日
Shaded boxes on forms now stay shaded behind the text typed in them, instead of turning white around the words. Large printed panels, shaded table rows and highlighted text come out whole and even rather than patchy, with cleaner paper around them.

Reminders now say when they cannot ring: notifications are off, or the phone may pause an app you have not opened for months. Times read correctly in Urdu and follow your 24-hour setting. Very large photos no longer run some phones out of memory. Premium links to the store page for changing a subscription. A purchase Google Play would not confirm is retried.

Bring in a PDF: Import on the camera offers Photos or a PDF file, and a PDF shared from another app opens as pages. Renaming offers the page's heading and names you have used before. Share as PNG for drawings and signatures. Assist suggests a folder for an unfiled document. One sign-in for your purchase, Assist and backups, said the same way everywhere. A better page cleaner for small and low-resolution scans, and a way to reach a person from Settings.

Document Scanner is rebuilt from the ground up. Your existing documents come across on first launch.
New: a redesigned library with folders and search, a cleaner that turns a phone photo into a print-quality page, automatic capture when the page is steady, page reordering and editing, locked documents behind your fingerprint or PIN, and reminders you can set from a document.
Smaller downloads and faster scans on every phone.
