EigenViewer

Eigenvectors of a 2x2 matrix are vectors on a 2D plane whose direction will not change after a linear transformation by that 2x2 matrix.

In this application,

• the user is invited to drag the tip of a vector around until its transformation points to the same or opposite direction. At this moment, both the corresponding eigenvalue and eigenvector will be shown;

• as the emphasis is on visualization, only real (not complex) eigenvalues and eigenvectors are shown;

• any 2x2 matrix can be set but for simplicity, only integer values are accepted.
