Halal Certificate

MUI Halal Certificate is a written fatwa of the Indonesian Ulema Council which states the halal status of a product in accordance with Islamic sharia. This MUI Halal Certificate is a requirement to obtain a halal labeling permit on the product packaging from the authorized government agency.

Purpose of Halal Certification

MUI Halal Certification in food products, medicines, cosmetics and other products is carried out to provide certainty of halal status, so as to reassure consumers in consuming them. The continuity of the halal production process is guaranteed by producers by implementing a Halal Guarantee System.
