Inanimate Alice is an interactive multimodal fiction, a born-digital novel relating the experiences of Alice and her imaginary digital friend, Brad.

In Episode 5, the first in the series to be adapted for mobile and tablet devices, Alice is 16, an aspiring game designer who grew up constantly on the move. Now, she finds that the so-called stable hometown life she yearned for is far from perfect. Bored and restless, she skates into deep trouble.
