INFINITy

The INFINITy application consists of a mobile application designed for the Android system aimed at people with mild cognitive impairment, with the purpose of providing support to maintain functionality both in the home environment and in the nearest environment. This application is accompanied by other support materials such as cards, stickers and / or key chains.

The application has different functions such as the following:

- Be able to facilitate certain tasks such as calling a family member only by passing the mobile device over a card provided to the user.

- Support in carrying out a housework such as how to use an appliance. This information is acquired only by passing the mobile over a sticker that is on the same appliance.

- Promote healthy activities such as the practice of physical activity by receiving a reminder on the mobile device of the benefits of walking outdoors when the person passes by the side of a park. Or when you go through your referral pharmacy you get a notification to the mobile to remember to take the medication.

- In the case of sending SMS there are 2 use cases: send a pre-fixed message and share their GPS location with their caregiver. The sending of SMS needs always to be triggered by the user through NFC cards.

This App is the outcome of the innovation project INFINITy, funded by the EIT Health.
