Labor Room Register

This application will be used at the TSU/ health facilities (Primary Health Centers, Sick Newborn Care Units (SNCUs) etc.) across Bihar, and will support existing efforts to manage vLBW babies, which include the existing Continuum of Care Services (CCS) mHealth solution and soon to be rolled out ICDS-CAS solution developed for Frontline Health Workers (FLWs) in the state.

The application will allow health workers to track and follow-up on vLBW birth and digitizes current paper-based tracking methods used at the facility, including case registry, follow up records etc.

In subsequent phases, we intend to add features to ensure that necessary health details are captured as a woman moves through the continuum of care, from pregnancy, to delivery and then to taking care of the newborn child, allowing continuous update of information, with sufficient validations and checks built-in to ensure incorrect or conflicting information is not captured during any stage.
