Mohamed Kammah or just simply the name that people know him as “Kammah”. His real name is Mohamed Ahmed Yehia Tawfik, a talented young egyptian star that was born after Star Academy Season 4 on LBC. Mohamed’s zodiac sign is Scorpio (November 3rd) and it is a good representative of the characteristics of the sign with his determined, emotional, powerful, and exciting character.

Mohamed developed a love for music and art since his youth that is why he was pushed by his father to follow courses at the music conservatory to perform playing piano and guitar lessons. Mohamed was also a talented athlete excelling in Ping Pong and Billiards at Heliopolis Sporting Club. He owes his big talent to his musical background family & friends that have always been there to support him and push him. His Hobbies include listening to all genres of music, playing different instruments that he carries around everywhere even to the bathroom, traveling, swimming, riding horses, playing ping pong and billiards. During season four of Star Academy on LBC, Mohamed received the top signer award for placing in the Top singers of the academy the most out of any other students. He competed in the final prime with three others students for a chance to win the show. He really proved himself to be a talented star throughout the show. Mohamed gained the love and support of people being a part of the sixteen week reality TV show.

After Star academy program was over, Mohamed received many offers from many music companies for contracts. Being the most important decision of his career, Mohamed signed a contract with Good News 4 Music Company, a company well known for developing young stars into successful performers.

In the end of the summer of 2008, he launched ( Kol MaFakar) his first single video clip . The beautiful song's lyrics were written by the great poet Bahaa Eldine Mohamed , composed By Kammah , arranged by Hani Yacoub and video clip directed by Hossam Elhosseni.

During the last sacred month of Ramadan 2008, he released a religious prayer song titled (7abbeb feya Khal2ak). The song’s composition and arrangement by Sherif Elwesimy and composed by Kammah.

Mohamed Kammah was recently named Best Rising Singer for 2008 Dear Guest Festival Magazine. The award is selected by the fans and that is the kind of award that is most valuable to any artist.

In May 2009 he released song titled (Makona B3ad). The song’s composition by Kammah and arrangement by Tarek Abd Elgaber and composed by Kammah.

In June 2009 The contract between the rising singer Mohamed El Kammah and Good News 4 Music production company was terminated after only one year of cooperation between them through 2 songs in "Good News Vol 1" from which the song "Kol Mafakkar" was filmed as a music video, a song for Gaza. It's worth mentioning that the contract was signed in April 2008 to hold a 10-year monopoly for Good News company. The contract included producing 7 albums within those 10 years.

Kammah has received offers from several production companies inside and outside Egypt, after finishing most of his new album songs, the album that is expected to be released soon.
