Biography.

Mirembe Racheal is a Ugandan music artist, singer and songwriter who is one of the fast rising female hiphop music artists in Uganda.

Recho Rey came into the limelight after she featured in the Who is Who challenge where different rappers in Uganda used the same beat to record their own songs and this challenge made her popular and gave her the platform to start off her career as a female hiphop music artist and rapper in Uganda.

Recho Rey was born in Kireka which is a suburb found in Kampala the capital city of the East African country called Uganda on the 5th of April in the year 1998.

She is the first born of her parents in a family that has three girls. Recho Rey attended Makula day and boarding primary school.

After completing her primary school education, she joined Namboole High School where she obtained her ordinary level education.

After her ordianary level of education she joined Standard College where she obtained her Advanced level of education.

Recho Rey has always had a strong passion for music ever since she was young and she got the perfect opportunity to start off her music career during the Who is who challenge where she also put up her own lyrics onto the beat that was released by FeffeBussi one of the music rappers and artists in Uganda and that was at the end of the year 2017.

Due to her musical talent she emerged as one of the winners of the MTN cypher UG Hip Pop awards.

Recho Rey has so far released songs like Tweewemu, Kiki Ekidako, Guma Bakunyige, Term Egenda, Cheating and Kiba Kigwa which have become hit songs and they have been played all over the radio and television stations in the country.

Recho Rey is an inspiration to all the youths out there especially the girls in Uganda and across Africa who are planning to join the entertainment industry especially those planning to do music with a strong message that it is possible to achieve your goals and dreams.
