Kiko Run was adopted from an Indonesian production cartoon series that aired on TV.

Kiko tells of a child of a carp chef who is very independent, even though he is an only child. Kiko who is always cheerful has four good friends, namely Lola the discus fish, Ting Ting the crab, Patino the catfish and Poly the betta fish. On the other hand, the antagonist, Karkus the catfish and Eel Pupus, always made Kiko's life chaotic. One day, the lake where Kiko lived was polluted by pollution or toxic waste due to the reckless act of humans that caused Kiko and friends to turn into mutants.
