Download the latest images from the NASA/ESA SOHO,SDO, and STEREO spacecrafts.
Why stare at the Sun? Solar Max displays near realtime image data from the NASA/ESA Solar and Heliospheric Observatory (SOHO) and Solar Dynamics Observatory (SDO) spacecrafts downloaded directly to your Android device.
Solar Max feature high resolution images from six from the SOHO satellite's sensors and three from SDO that observe the sun around the clock in various wavelengths.
Features:
- All new 2.0 version, redesigned from the ground up.
- New 'CoverFlow' user interface.
- Features images from nine solar image sensors on three spacecraft.
- Pinch and Zoom into high resolution images of the sun.
Please note that each high resolution image and may take time to download depending on your service provider.
Solar Max Lite is limited to displaying the most recent selected images from SOHO and SDO spacecraft. The full version gives you access to the full range of space craft images, including all of SDO and STEREO, and the ability to time lapse animate SOHO images. Addition full version features coming soon.
