Species Dictionary gives you offline access to species taxonomy in latin name and common name. Simply search and tap on the species name and get more information about the species from well known online sources like Wikipedia, Google, Flickr, Arkive and Wolfram Alpha.
There are over 300,000 species on the global species list and over 60,000 species on the UK species list.
Offline mode now available. Click the "Cache" button to save Wikipedia pages for a full result set to your SD Card, making them available without an internet connection. Note that only Wikipedia is saved. A Wi-Fi network is recommended for caching.
NOTE: We have discovered the Web Caching facility is not working in Android 4.2. We are working on it.
