Speed Volume Control

This is intended for android car head units. It increases the volume as vehicle speed increases, to compensate for increased background noise.

Provides:

- Three levels of sensitivity for increasing the volume at different speeds.

- Selection between android head unit volume control and standard android media volume.

- Metric or imperial

- Test button, to validate the volume change works on your device without needing to drive around.

- When the app is enabled, the settings will display the current speed, current volume adjustment, and the next max/min speeds for altering the volume.

- Custom sensitivity where exact speeds can be specified (pro mode)

- Ability to disable the visual notification of volume changes (pro mode)

Note that this app uses the GPS for monitoring the vehicle speed, and so should be used with a car head unit or a device with a continuous power source.

The various sensitivity levels should be sufficient for most vehicles. If you like the app please purchase pro mode to help support it.

Custom volume levels are specified in a comma separated list of min-max pairs. These pair ranges cannot overlap, and must be specified in increasing order. When the vehicle speed crosses the next "max" value, the volume is increased. If the volume drops below the corresponding "min" value, then the volume is decreased.

The following permissions are needed:

- Location: Used for determining vehicle speed. Requires precise GPS location for this.

- Modify system settings: Used for setting the volume for head units. These units do not control volume the same as standard android phones and tablets.

- Run at startup: When the app is enabled, it will continuously run in the background. This permission allows it to check the enabled state and start up on boot.

- In-app purchases: This is to allow purchasing pro mode, which provides a couple extra features. This also requires network access.

No sensitive info or data is collected. GPS is used to determine current speeds. No locations or speeds are recorded or stored. This app does not communicate with anything other than the google play services.

This app was developed using an Eonon 2154 unit, running android 5.1.1. Other similar apps didn't seem to work on this specific device, hence the need to write this. Should work on other Hui Fei based devices, of which Eonon is only one of many resellers.
