Sputnik Messenger is still in development!

This version is for everybody interested in it's current beta state.

Please expect:

- no end-to-end encryption (at least for now)

- a lot of missing features

- major changes between updates

- to re-login / re-sync after an update

- an unpolished user interface

- a bumpy user experience

If you are new to the matrix.org world:

Sputnik Messenger is just a client. It is not running it's own public server.

You need to have already created an account on one of the available matrix servers.

There are many servers out there and you can communicate across server boundaries.

Currently, the free matrix.org main server is a good place to create an account if you don't know where to start: https://riot.im/app/#/register
