Over 60 years ago, Lucy Brown started The Echo to share her opinions and thoughts regarding local events and politics. From this humble beginning, a community paper entertained, informed, and educated residents from Grey Forest, Helotes, and Leon Valley.
The Echo continues to reach those readers but has grown to reach readers throughout the Northside of Bexar County.
As communities and methods of sharing news have evolved so has the Echo. Now we provide video, audio, photojournalism, and writing to inform our audiences about the information important to them.
