The Rug Establishment

The Rug Establishment features luxurious handcrafted rugs and are specialists in custom design for the Interior Design industry worldwide. Continually inspired with artisan craftsmanship and utilising a myriad of the unique fibres, manufacture techniques and thousands of sumptuous colours, our rugs are unsurpassed for beauty and quality. All products are free of child-labour and as an active Care & Fair initiative we fund half of a 320 student school each year, supporting the community that in turn support us by making our beautiful rugs.

Most of the manufacturing is undertaken in India, specifically in the heartland of hand-made rugs - Bhadohi. The Rug Establishment has invested heavily into production systems that make it the world leader in custom designing processes with state of the art online software. Along with some of the most dedicated artisans, we are committed to best practise design, production and logistics. We are very fortunate to work with some of the leading interior designers and architects across Asia, Australia, New Zealand and the USA. More recently we have also enjoyed working with designers in the UK and Continental Europe, and as far wide as South America in Venezuela and Columbia. We can ship to almost everywhere in the world by air or by sea and can supply 1 rug or a complete hotel project.
