Thousand (1000)

1000 or Thousand is a 3 player trick-taking card game based on accumulating points throughout hands to win the whole game. The game is based on another game called Marriage, which is the French word for marriage. It refers to pairs consisting of two cards (Queen & King) of the same suit. The most crucial skills for the players are being able to remember cards and being good in thinking strategically. The game is played with one small deck of cards and throughout the game the trump suit changes. There are a total of 24 cards.
