Tonal Harmony Analysis

This app shows harmony of chord progressions on four-part writing by analyzing it in accordance with tonal harmony principles.

It aims to help users through having the app perform the mathematical part of the voice leading while evaluating the rules of the harmony of chords. By doing so, the user will have following advantages:

· Not having to remember all the harmony rules

· Minimizing the risk of making mistakes

· Focusing on the main purpose: making music

This app will be improved by user feedback: musicians, composers, music theorists, academics, students and anyone else who wants to make a contribution.

You can listen chords and save to file.

The saved file has “mxl” extension. This is a universal music notation file type, and it can be opened from other music notation software.
