關於VSAg
VSAg connects global manufacturers with their agricultural supply chains.
VSAg was designed to make farm-level emissions data collection simple, accurate, and scalable. Instead of complex forms or costly audits, the platform uses short, guided videos on a mobile app. Farmers can walk, record and submit in minutes, with no need for technical expertise.
The process is straightforward:
Guided video-based self-audit-Farmers capture key information on livestock, fertiliser, feed and energy through short video prompts and questions.
Automated and reviewed calculations- Data is processed through VSAg’s models grounded in IPCC methodologies, with consultant verification to ensure credibility.
Actional outputs-Farmers receive instant feedback on energy use, emissions, and opportunities to cut costs or boost productivity.
For farmers, the process delivers practical insights without the heavy reporting burden that so often accompany sustainability initiatives. The feedback loop is immediate, offering tailored recommendations that that help cut input costs, reduce emissions, and improve productivity.
For companies, the same process creates a scalable and consistent stream of Scope 3 data, aligned with global frameworks such as the CSRD, SBTI FLAG, and Origin Green. Through a dedicated portal, manufacturers can track audits in progress and completed, review the underlying farm level data, and access aggregated insights in real time. This dashboard provides a clear overview of emissions profiles, risk hotspots, and performance trends across numerous suppliers simultaneously, transforming what was once fragmented into a single, actionable system of record.
At its core, VSAg is a unified data platform for the agricultural supply chain, designed to bridge high-tech and low- tech environments alike. By breaking down silos between farmers, processors, retailers, and regulators, it allows supply chain actors to move from fragmented, inconsistent data toward a holistic, comparable, and actionable view of performance. Importantly, the platform isn’t just about compliance, it creates a two-way channel of communication in which farmers receive feedback and support, while companies gain the transparency and traceability they require to meet climate commitments and protect market share.
The sectors of greatest impact are those most in need of reliable data: dairy and beef, tropical commodities such as coffee, cocoa, and palm oil, fibre crops like cotton, and agroforestry-linked supply chains. In these systems, many of which are dominated by smallholder farmers, the lack of accessible, verifiable data remains a critical barrier to decarbonisation. VSAg can be configured to directly address this gap and suit the needs of any sector, turning farm-level realities into measurable data.
The platform’s success can be captured by a single guiding measure: the End-to-End Supply Chain Visibility Rate. This reflects the percentage of farms, cooperatives, and processors providing timely, accurate, and actionable data through VSAg. By raising this rate, companies unlock a real-time understanding of their supply chains, while farmers gain tools that improve both sustainability and profitability.
