vWand StartApp lets you read and write NFC tags with vWand™ by Sistelnetworks, an NFC stylus with bluetooth designed to provide NFC connectivity to tablets and smartphones in a natural way. For more information about vWand™, please visit www.sistelnetworks.com

With vWand StartApp, the user can read standard NFC tags as url, mail, telephone or sms, and launch the browser, sms sender or mail client easily in user’s smartphone or tablet. User can also create new nfc tags based on these NFC Forum standards, so any NFC-enabled device can read them.

In this version, the NFC Forum standard “Well-Known” Record Types supported are: url, mail, telephone and sms. vWand StartApp supports the NFC Forum Type 2 tags Mifare Ultralight, Ultralight C and NTAG203.

vWand StartApp manages bluetooth connection with a vWand™ previously paired, and controls connection failures. vWand StartApp only works with vWand hardware.
