Warframe is a free to play tps game. Set in a distant future where the Solar System is torn apart by the Grineers, a highly militarized clone race; the Corpus, a mega-corporation of merchants with advanced robotic and laser technology; and the Infested, victims of the Technocyte Virus. The player takes on the role of a Tenno, a member of a fourth faction whose nature remains a mystery. He is guided in his missions by an entity called Lotus.

Players are always pitted against numerically superior enemies. Against this, players have a varied arsenal of archaic and modern weapons at their disposal, and especially special armor - the Warframe - each of which has its own unique abilities. Despite being a shooter, the game focuses on the synchronization of the players' arsenal, giving them infinite creativity.
