State Route 246 connects the cities of Santa Ynez, Solvang Buellton and Lompoc. This 30 mile stretch of highway runs through the heart of Santa Barbara's "Wine Country." Most of the wineries here are small boutique operations and many are family owned and operated.

Visitors enjoy the areas strong rural flavor and tasting world class wines in an unpretentious atmosphere. On-site vineyard tasting rooms range from rustic converted barns to elegant Mediterranean-style villas.
