Al-Jinn & Translation

Surat Al-Jinn (سورة الجن, "Jin") is the 72nd sura of the Qur'an with 28 verses. The name as well as the topic of this chapter is the genie. Similar to the angels, jinn are spiritual beings invisible to the naked human eye. In the Quran, it is stated that man was created from the earth and the genie of fire in more than one instance.

In the second paragraph jin recant their belief in false gods and glorify Muhammad for his monotheism. Jin apologized for their past blasphemy and criticizing the human race either to ignore them or push their disbelief. Verses 20-22 is very important as monotheism (tawhid) among the jinn reaffirmed and inevitable wrath of God emphasized. Judgment in paragraph 7, and Punishment in paragraph 25, both a reference to the Day of Judgment Islam, Yawm al Qiyamah. Verses 25-28 stipulates that Qiyama known only to God, and that God takes into account all human actions when judging him.
