HCA is an official body affiliated to the AICF and Haryana Olympic Association

The Haryana Chess Association is a society formed in the year 1983 and registered under Societies Registration Act, under the presidentship of Mr. V. N. Rai, IPS with the aim and objective of promoting the game of chess in Haryana. HCA is an official body affiliated to the All India Chess Federation (AICF) and Haryana Olympic Association. It is authorized to conduct state and national chess championships. It also selects the state teams and sends them to various national chess tournaments to represent Haryana. The Haryana Chess Association is headed by young and dynamic president Mr. Raju Verma and Secretary General Mr. Naresh Sharma, advocate from Gurgaon.
