App aims to bring transparency and ease of use in areas like MDM and Sanitation.
STEPS, Chote Kadam Badi Soch encompass various social initiatives by Havells India, one of the largest makers of industrial and household electrical and consumer durable products in India. The flagship program of Mid-day meal is undertaken through its foundation ??QRG Foundation. Our social investment programs focus on five areas where we believe Havells can add the most value and make a significant and lasting impact. These areas include Health & Nutrition, Education, Sanitation, Heritage conservation, Environment conservation and energy conservation. The mobile app aims to bring transparency and ease of operations in areas like Mid-day meal and Sanitation. The app will enable stakeholders to participate and communicate more effectively and help improve services. The app will enable beneficiaries to share their expectations and concerns with the QRG Foundation officials. The app allows the drivers to share pictures of bio-toilets from each school with other team members, hence performing a frequent and informal inspection. Going forward the app will also help track impact of various CSR initiatives of Havells and QRG Foundation.
