IAMHERE is an application used to locate a mobile phone by sending a simple SMS request. You may use it to track your mobile phone, your kids, employees or friends. No need to get offline maps, or data enabled.

IAMHERE has a configurable key phrase based on which every SMS received will be matched and if found valid the application will turn on the GPS and find the mobile's geolocation. If GPS is unavailable, it will try to retrieve location information from the network. Afterwords it will prepare and send an SMS to the requestor's phone number with the geolocation as well as speed and altitude attributes. The recipient may click on the link to show the exact position on Google maps.

By clicking on the 'Send' button IAMHERE will prepare a geolocation message and open up the SMS application to let you send the message to any recipient you want.

IAMHERE's configuration lets you include and/or exlude specific phone numbers you want to allow or deny SMS requests from.

** App is running in the background when an SMS is received, consumes minimum battery

** You may want to get the mobile owner's consest to install the app

** Geolocation may take some time to get a GPS fix. GPS timeout is configurable and defaults to 25 seconds

** The app needs Android's app permissions for Location, SMS and Storage. Based on your device you may need to set them explicitly
