Hadith science is the science that discusses the condition or nature of the narrators and what is narrated.

Translators are people who bring, receive and convey news from the Prophet, namely those who are in the sanad of a hadith.

Hadith science studies qowadul hadith, jarh wa ta'dil science, text studies, rajalil science, maanil science, ulumul hadith, tahfidz, siroh nabawiyah, manahijul muhaddisin, takhrijul hadith science, and hadith research methodology.

Hadith is the second source of Islamic law after the Koran. There are at least nine branches of ulumul hadith which are the focus of hadith experts.

The benefit of studying the branches of Hadith science is that it provides an overview of how to protect the Sunnah and avoid mistakes in its transmission. Provides new knowledge about how to determine the quality of a hadith, whether the hadith is accepted or rejected, both from the sanad and eye angles.
