Islamic Law Dictionary

This dictionary is a compilation of Arabic and English legal terms that are mostly used and found in the study of Islamic Law and Local Adat in the Philippines. The editor of this book gathered legal terms together with thier meanings from competent sources. These terms are related to Islamic Criminal Law, Succession, Inheritance, Persons and Family Relations, Islamic Jurisprudence and Religious Laws. It is admitted that there are many areas to be improved and completed in this work. Comments and recommendations from the users shall be incorporated in the next edition of this dictionary.

The purpose of this book is to enlarge the reading materials for the researchers.

This work is part of the Research Project prepared at the MSU Shariah Center last 2016 and 2017 when the editor served as Director of the Center.
