My love for interiors started at a young age, I have grown up with a creative family, mum had an eye for interiors and she always loved independent interior shops in pretty little villages up and down the country.

We would spend weekends searching for these little shops and tearooms where after a day of exploring, treated ourselves to a large slice of Victoria sponge (weekend treat always!) I’ve seen her transform two beautiful houses from derelict conditions to spaces that looked like something that has now been published in magazines.

I had an interest in interior design at school and went to college to study architecture and interiors leading to university studies; wallpaper and fabric design. I enjoyed the more practical element of interiors and had a passion for country homes which led to hand painted furniture. I started to hand paint furniture for clients which lead to painting kitchens for local kitchen companies, I enjoyed working freelance but had always dreamed of opening a Interior shop.

Loren & Co Interiors was opened by me with the vision to teach others the tips & tricks of the trade of hand painted furniture and also bringing a country interior shop to the quaint village where you can find anything, from antique furniture that has been sourced from the depths of Europe, bouquets of wild faux flowers, local handmade candles and beautiful soft furnishings.
