mCRS Civil Registration System

mCivil Registration System (mCRS) is an android based mobile application for registration of Birth and Death events. Primarily mCRS App is designed and developed for Registrars and Sub-Registrars who are working with CRS online system and have android smart phones. In this era of technology and digital world, mobility is a reality of today’s work environment. The idea behind mCRS App is to engage and increase the number of registrations with CRS online system on a uniform platform throughout the country.

Functions of the application:

1. Add Birth Registration - Through this option Registrar/Sub-Registrar will be able to register any new event of birth. Any old registered event of birth could not be registered through this link.

2. Add Death Registration - Through this option Registrar/Sub-Registrar will be able to register any new event of death. Any old registered event of death could not be registered through this link.

3. Received Birth Applications - Under this option of menu, user will get all the reported events of Birth by Data Entry Operators, Private Hospital, CSC and General Public. User will be able to view summary of any reported event and also can approve for registration or can reject if not satisfied with the information reported.

4. Received Death Applications - Under this option of menu, user will get all the reported events of Death by Data Entry Operators, Private Hospital, CSC and General Public. User will be able to view summary of any reported event and also can approve for registration or can reject if not satisfied with the information reported.

5. Track Status - Through this link, users will be able to search any registered event of Birth or Death by entering registration number generated by CRS. Users also will be able to track the status of any reported event of Birth and Death by entering Application Reference Number.

6. Contact Us - Through this link, user will be able to get contact information of Civil Registration System (CRS) division at New Delhi.

It is an extension of CRS online system which is a common solution for Birth, Death and Still Birth Registration and Certificate generation across the country. mCRS App is a solution to overcome the unavailability of desktops and laptops in rural and remote areas. Any registered user with CRS online system as Registrar or Sub-Registrar can login in mCRS App with existing login credentials. There is no need of new login credentials for mCRS App.
