Maharashtra Academy of Engineering and Educational Research (MAEER) was started in 1983 by Prof. Dr. Vishwanath D. Karad, Founder, Executive President &Managing Trustee, MAEER's MIT Group of Institutions. The group has 65 institutions running courses from KG to PG.

MAEER's MIT College of Management (MITCOM) is functioning successfully under able leadership and guidance of Prof. Dr. MangeshKarad, Secretary and Executive Director, MIT Group of Institutions, Pune. Since 2007, the Institute is successfully running various management programs with a unique blend of theoretical and practical knowledge as per the expectations of the industry.
