Modeling with Spreadsheets

Excellent IT skills are a must for excelling in the job of modern day management.

During their future careers, most managers will have to use Excel to analyze data and develop spreadsheet models to solve problems they encounter on the job in every functional area of a company.

The goal is not to teach these packages in an abstract sense, but rather to show how they can be applied to real business problems to help make important decisions and use it as both a reporting tool and a modeling tool for solving the day to day business data analytic needs. Emphasis will be on math’s skills, critical thinking and spreadsheet construction and ways to automate data analysis.

Each topic of excel has been segregated and presented in a standalone way as well as when it is applied in a case creation.

Students at the end of the course will be ready to quickly build linked systems of Spreadsheets Models for data analysis and Business Modeling
