PeriSecure Protect

PeriSecure Protect is intended to be used by caregivers and others involved in the safety of individuals who leave their premises unaccompanied. PeriSecure Alert is the companion app to PeriSecure Protect and provides a measure of autonomy to the user when their movements are being followed with PeriSecure Protect.

PeriSecure Protect and PeriSecure Alert are ideal for use in retirement homes and other facilities housing people who are able to care for themselves but who may become disoriented when going out for a walk, bicycle ride, etc. alone and who may have trouble returning home.

Before setting out, the user sets the expected maximum distance from home they plan to travel, as well as the expected total time of the trip. They will also have completed a simple one-time setup with a device running PeriSecure Protect. Then, whenever they set out, they just create an alert which will notify the monitoring person whenever they have exceeded their distance limit or half their time limit.

Used together, PeriSecure Alert and PeriSecure Monitor offer an unparalleled tool in improving independence of seniors and others in need, while at the same time preserving their privacy.
