PopMovies

Most of us can relate to kicking back on the couch and enjoying a movie with friends and family. PopMovies, allows users to discover the most popular movies playing, and make users able to watch its trailers and what other users say about it.

PopMovies Application:

• Present to the user a grid arrangement of movie posters upon launch.

• Allows users to change sort order via a sorting button, the sort order can be by most popular, by highest-rated, or by user favorites.

• Allows users to view and play trailers ( either in the

youtube app or a web browser).

• Allows users to read reviews of a selected movie.

• Allows users to mark a movie as a favorite in the

details views by tapping a button(star).

• Has a database and content provider to store the

names and ids of the user's favorite movies, to display

their favorites collection while offline.

• Allow the user to tap on a movie poster and transition

to a details screen with additional information, such as movie title, movie poster image thumbnail, movie description, other users’ rating, movie trailers, and other users’ comments on this movie.
