SPIF SYSTEM

The control module is designed to automatically control the lift axle on self-steering triaxle trucks to comply with Ontario SPIF Schedule 23. This system is built for trucks with air ride and mechanical (Hendrickson) walking bean suspension.

The system:

Lifts and lower the lift axle

Control the weight on the lift axle

Deploys the lift axle if the weight on front axle is equal or greater than 9000kg, or if the weight on tandem axle is equal or greater than 18000kg

When loaded and the axle is deployed, it will lift if:

The weight on lift axle is less than 4000 Kg

Truck is backing up

Hazard lights and push button are activated, speed must be under 60km/h
