UMMID-RIMS

This application is customized for the State of Jharkhand to screen the newborns for identifying visible birth defects (if any) and to report the same in the central server (on real time) for subsequent follow-up and action by the NHM officials.

Newborn screening for 4Ds is an important initiative of Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram (RBSK) for early identification and intervention at District Early Intervention Center (DEIC) for neonatal care. Unique Method of Management of Inherited Disorders (UMMID) aims at screening all Newborn (being initiated at Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences, RIMS) and subsequent follow-up.
